Hero and Jen

Just as his career was taking off after winning a talent search and gaining a wide fan base, Hero Angeles was soon at the center of a much-publicized controversy. This prompted him to seek his release from his former studio and is now a freelance artist trying to find a home. And in his quest to keep his spot in the showbiz world, he has to face the new challenges that lie ahead.
For one, there has been some buzz on who will be his new love team. He was previously paired with a Korean teen who was also the product of the star search he was part of. Although he denied having a romantic relationship with the young Korean, he admitted “Before crush lang [dati].”
In 24 Oras, Hero mentioned that he is looking forward to work with Jennylyn Mercado whom he obviously admires. “May mga love team na rin dito. Ok naman po kahit sino [ang ma-] katrabaho [ko],” he added.
In interview with Paolo Bediones of S-Files, he recalled first meeting the young celebrity during the rehearsal for an awards show but didn’t have the chance to have a long conversation. “Ngayon, nalaman ko mabait pala. Mabait pala,” Hero said of Jennylyn.
When asked to comment on Hero’s statements, Jennylyn said that she is flattered that he has a liking for her.
But what chance does Hero have with the teen star who has an on and off screen team-up with the “Bad Boy of the Dance Floor” Mark Herras?
